Our "Roaring 20's New Year's Eve" bash was "the bee's knees"! The event was the grand kickoff to our 90th anniversary year! We rang in the new year with nearly 200 guests in true roaring 20's style.
Guests arrived to a red carpet in spectacular 1920's attire and danced the night away to 1920's and 30's music by "The Southport Sound", an eleven piece big band! Gaming was provided in the speakeasy where guests played blackjack, roulette, craps and poker. Our culinary team served food at four chef-attended actions stations and impressed attendees with gorgeous displays of both sweet and savory selections. In addition, passed hors d'oeuvres were served throughout the evening. Two bars were available for party guests to enjoy the beer, wine, soda and pre-prohibition inspired cocktails that were included with party tickets. One bar was even illuminated from within to accentuate the custom Art-Deco design. A balloon drop accentuated the cheers as the clock stroke midnight and the band played "Auld Lang Syne".
The evening truly was a magical way to begin our 90th year of memories with the people who have allowed us to be around for nearly a century, our guests.
