Across the foyer from The Fitz, the Ambassador’s lounge, Gin Rickey, features an eclectic menu of pre-prohibition-inspired artisan cocktails, a sommelier crafted wine collection and a variety of local craft and micro brews. The lounge offers a separate culinary menu with lunch, dinner and late night dining.
The Fitz features a menu of bold, creative flavors, crafted with influences from yesteryear. The Fitz’s name is a nod to F. Scott Fitzgerald and his energy and creative storytelling throughout the roaring twenties, the decade during which The Ambassador Hotel was founded. The Fitz offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, each of which celebrates the rich history of the hotel with a contemporary take on the classics.
Deco features locally roasted Valentine Coffee and a menu that boasts scratch-made bakery, pastry and soft serve ice cream creations by the hotel’s pastry team. Deco also features small plate breakfast and casual lunch fare menus.

F. SCOTT FITZGERALD'S FAVORITE DRINK:
THE GIN RICKEY
The Gin Rickey – a drink made from gin or bourbon, half of a lime, and carbonated water – was notably F. Scott Fitzgerald’s favorite cocktail. It is the only drink mentioned by name in Fitzgerald’s critically acclaimed novel, The Great Gatsby. It was also one of the featured cocktails on the Ambassador Hotel’s original menu.
